Night and Day - part 1 (presents)

September 24th and 25th were like the day and the night.
Of course the 24th was my B-day so it was nice. I didn't get out at home at all since I had to work but in the end managed to get a present and pizza.

Il 24 e il 25 sono stati come il giorno e la notte. Il 24 ovviamente molto meglio, era il mio compleanno quindi ero al centro dell'attenzione. Il 25 giù per il tubo. Il 24 non sono uscita perché dovevo lavorare e sono anche riuscita a racimolare un bel regalo e la pizza per cena.

Now the present is very cool, comes from my parents and it makes me feel like... you cannot be a fan of an iconic character or that's all you get as a present.
I don't mind honestly but I don't know if I am suited for these kinds of things... so I acept because the stuff is expensive and the present comes from the heart and I do love Kitty - but honestly I am way too old to get these kinds of presents.

Il regalo è una figata, me lo han fatto i miei genitori, compensa per diverse cose ma mi fa pensare... che non puoi dire una volta: "ammazza che figo quel personaggio, è iconico", e te lo ritrovi nei regali a ogni festività e occasione possibile! Non che la cosa mi dispiaccia, ovviamente, il personaggio è iconico e mi piace il design ma non so se tutte queste cose sono adatte a me... (che poi le indosso perché son regali, comunque)... li accetto perché so che sono cari e che vengono dal cuore, e vengon fatti con le migliori intenzioni - e onestamente adoro Hello Kitty - ma forse non sono troppo grande per ricevere questo tipo di regali?
Tuttavia ho Kitty che mi invade casa e il guardaroba... ha ha ha.


On the other hands I think: if I keep getting stuff for kids and buy me stuff for kids maybe I won't age. So far it worked pretty okay so I should probably continue.

Però pensavo che: se continuo a racimolare cose per bambini forse non invecchio. Finora ha funzionato piuttosto bene quindi mi sa che continuerò.

Therefore, people, bring it on!!! Way to go Kitty! Keep me young!

It is cute, I got the choice between this one and a pink one. I sweat the pink blanket was even cuter... I loved the design. The pink was to aggressive and I don't sleep well in super bright colors (I have a blanket that has the colors of gelato and I can't keep my eyes shut! O_O)

E' carinissima, potevo scegliere tra questa e una rosa. Quella rosa aveva un design molto più bello. Il rosa era troppo acceso però e io non dormo bene in coperte dai colori vivaci (ne ho una color gelato fragola e pistacchio e non riesco a chiudere gli occhi O_O).

This is not a winter blanket though, it's kinda mid season. I have to say the Hello Kitty plaid Oliver and Tachan got me for my b-day some years ago sits very nicely on it. But this isn't it.

Questo piumino è di mezza stagione. Il plaid di Kitty che Oliver e Tachan mi hanno regalato un paio di anni fa al compleanno ci sta proprio bene su, piegata e poggiata ai piedi del lettino. Ma questo non è tutto.

I didn't get a blanket I got the full set!

Non ho ricevuto in dono solo la copertina ma tutto il set!
Coperta, lenzuola, cuscini (2 perché ne ho due).

So now I have a Hello Kitty bed.

E quindi questo autunno dormirò in un Hello Kittyssimo lettino.
